AML's End of Season Celebration

This is the crew that started the celebration with us, braving the chill and the rain to help clear some trail of unsightly trash; We commend this group for bringing joyful hearts to do some dirty work. Celebration is an active state, an act of expressing reverence or appreciation... Celebration is a confrontation, giving attention to the transcendent meaning of one’s actions.

As a team, we have been able to complete our first year of running wilderness and adventure programs! In having the privilege of sitting front row to all that has taken place, I can't say with enough emphasis how humbling it has all been to see. Much of this first year has gone as expected and planned; and in the true spirit of adventure, much has not. But we can say that planned or not, we have seen it all come together as a beautiful and sturdy foundation for continued excellent work. We have been able to lean into our mission of fostering and inspiring servant leadership through backpacking, service, and rock climbing programs as well as in the behind the scenes work of setting up our office, communications with our Belay Team, and the serving of one-another.

And though the rain came to join us in our celebrating, we had an awesome time. Here are just a few of the moments from our day of celebration (for more visit our FB page)
